When to book

Family Sessions: There’s no better time to book than now. When you look at your children, you notice how quickly they change. How they are no longer incorrectly pronouncing a word in their cute little voice. How they feel confident enough to put on their own shoes, even if it takes 45 minutes. Or how their smile is changing with every tooth they lose. It’s best to reach out 1-3 months before your desired family session date to ensure availability.

Maternity Sessions: Maternity sessions take place between 26-34 weeks pregnant. By this time, your bump is bumping and you’re still comfortable enough to move about during your session. It’s best to schedule your session early in your second trimester to ensure availability.

Newborn Sessions: An in-home lifestyle newborn session is the perfect way to welcome baby into not only your family, but also your home. The session is focused on the love and connection among your family without stiff posing. Sessions ideally take place within the first 2-4 weeks after birth, but can take place up until 12 weeks old. When you book your session, we’ll select a tentative date and adjust if needed based on baby’s arrival.

Where the magic happens

In-Home: All session types can take place in-home at any time throughout the year. Your home is the ideal setting for authentic, intimate and playful moments. We’ll use natural light to frame your family within the space that holds most of your memories. All newborn sessions take place in-home for a relaxed, baby-led session. Pets are always welcome!

Outdoor at Golden Hour: Golden hour sessions are held from April through November at various parks, beaches and preserves throughout Queens NYC, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties. Outdoor sessions allow for more freedom and movement during our session. We do have the beauty of enjoying all four seasons in New York, therefore I don’t offer winter sessions. But if you love winter in NYC, you’re always welcome to send an inquiry for a creative winter session.

How to book your session

Booking your session is designed to be simple and effortless. Begin by selecting your session type: family, maternity, or newborn. Then choose your preferred setting, whether that is a park, beach, or an in-home session.

You will then be taken to my booking site where you can view my availability calendar and select a date that works best for your family. To reserve your session, complete your contract and submit your retainer.

For outdoor sessions, you will receive a curated list of my favorite locations. If you have a different location in mind or a unique vision for your session, I would love to hear from you. Please reach out through my contact form so we can begin planning together.

Preparing for your session

Once your session is booked, we will begin planning together to ensure every detail feels effortless and thoughtfully curated. Ahead of your session, we will connect to finalize wardrobe selections, including complimentary access to my curated Client Closet, and bring your vision to life. From color palettes to textures, every element is chosen with intention. We will also go over how to best prepare your family so you can arrive feeling relaxed, confident and fully present.
