The In-Home Newborn Session

An in-home lifestyle newborn session documents more than your new arrival. It captures baby being welcomed into both your family and your home highlighting all the special things you did in preparation of your little one. The Maternity Mini session is intentionally small and slow. No rushing, no posing, just real moments, gently guided in your space. Moments highlighting the bonds of your family while you’re waiting to meet your baby.

• 30-minute lifestyle focused session capturing natural moments
• 5 hand edited digital images
• Personalized styling guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully

When & Where: Maternity mini sessions are offered weekday mornings only. Travel is included to homes within Queens and nearby areas of Nassau County (up to 12 miles from 11360). A $50 travel fee applies for locations in Brooklyn, the Bronx, lower Westchester, and more distant parts of Nassau County. For sessions outside these areas, please reach out to discuss availability.

Can I book the maternity mini on its own? No, it is only available as an add on to a booked Signature or Heirloom Newborn session.

When can the maternity mini take place? Sessions take place in-home on weekday mornings only.

How far in advance should I book? Maternity sessions take place between 26-34 weeks. It’s best to book by 20 weeks to ensure availability.

What’s the booking process? To reserve your sessions, a signed contract is required. A $350 non-refundable retainer secures both bookings ($100 towards maternity / $250 towards newborn), with the remaining balances due three days before each session.
