Living in Queens NY my entire life, I understand home size can be a concern for many considering an in-home lifestyle newborn sessions. But did you know that a newborn session can be done within just one room of your home? 

And guess what, it doesn’t need to be in a nursery. It’s not uncommon for a client to inform me they don’t have a dedicated nursery in their homes. Maybe you’re in an apartment so you decided just a bassinet will suffice. Most of us are room sharing for the first six months of baby’s life already, why lose your office to a nursery that no one is using? Or possibly this isn’t your first child and you already know that a mini crib in your room will work best for your family. 

Most of the time I arrive to a home and the space I find most fitting for the session isn’t at all what you would expect. Would you believe this entire session took place in the master bedroom? That’s the beauty of a lifestyle newborn session, the focus is on capturing the bond of your family in the space you make memories in.

Those first weeks are filled with laughter, joy, tears, chaos, hope, some sleep deprivation, but most importantly – love. My hope is that when you look back on the images from our time together you remember the love. The love within your family. The love that filled your home. The love that doesn’t change based on the size of your home.
